Chocolate Dessert Hummus
Serves 4
Ingredients:
1 can of chickpeas (14.5 oz), drained and rinsed
6 tablespoons coconut milk
2 tablespoons agave nectar
2 tablespoons coconut sugar
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup mini chocolate chips
Directions:
In a food processor combine the chickpeas, coconut milk, agave nectar, coconut sugar, cocoa powder, salt and vanilla extract; blend until smooth and creamy.
Remove the mixture from the food processor and transfer to a bowl, then stir in mini chocolate chips. Refrigerate for one hour before serving.
Serving suggestion – serve with fresh strawberries or other fruit
